• Preventive Health SA - Aboriginal Health and Health Equity - Priority Populations
• Salary: $121,107 to $125,679 - ASO8 - Full Time / Term Contract up to 30 January 2026

Overview:

• The Manager, Priority Populations is responsible for the management of the Priority Populations team to meet the objectives of the Aboriginal Health and Health Equity division, including supporting implementation of Preventive Health SAs strategic objectives, the South Australian Public Health Act, 2011, and other key health strategies and related planning within financial constraints.
• The role is required to strategically engage with the whole of State Government, Commonwealth Government, Non-Government sector and Local Government to lead and support the development and delivery of statewide targeted prevention and health promoting initiatives across the life course, including chronic disease prevention and wellbeing with a priority focus on improving health equity.
• This role will collaborate with other Preventive Health SA Divisions to provide knowledge and experience in delivering strategies for key population groups (e.g., Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and LGBTIQA+ populations).

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.

• A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
