The Location

The Ormsby is a 136 bed residential aged care facility, The Ormsby borders the beautiful hinterland in Buderim and has with a bustling village atmosphere. The Ormsby is a Signature home that provides high-quality aged care in a friendly, secure and comfortable residential environment.

The Job:

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. You will be making a difference in peoples lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

• Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.
• Cleaning the food preparation and consumption areas, cooking equipment and utensils.
• Cater for special occasions such as birthdays, cultural and religious occasions, meetings and events.
• Assist in maintaining the dining and adjacent rooms in a clean and hazard free condition.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
• Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
