About the Role

Our operational resilience framework aligns with the standards set by Australian regulators and ensures the BOQ Group can withstand and quickly recover from operational disruptions, including the unique challenges faced by the Australian financial market.

Our Head of Operational Resilience is responsible for supporting the General Manager Operational Risk and Assurance in implementing the BOQ Group approach to identifying and managing critical operations and business processes to ensure our organisations ability to prevent, adapt, respond to, recover, and learn from operational disruptions.

In this role, youll collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure critical and other key operations operate within set tolerances and develop a systematic plan to test and learn from plausible scenarios.

Youll also develop strategies that align with regulatory requirements while addressing associated challenges and opportunities and adapt global best practices in operational resilience to the specific legal, cultural, and business environment in Australia.

About you

You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of operational resilience and risk management. You have a proven track record of collaborating with business stakeholders to develop and implement effective resilience strategies. Your ability to adapt global best practices to local contexts, coupled with your strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
