About the role

In this role you will engage with relevant business partners and stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage category, contract and supplier strategies that deliver sustained value aligned with our strategic procurement portfolio plan.

This role will drive transformation and support the facilitates management and property group at a national level with a high volume of sites.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to lead the development, implementation and performance management of category, contract, and supplier strategies
  • Engage with the business to optimise Ampols purchasing in the short to medium term and to develop medium to long term procurement strategies
  • Influence positive changes which will improve value and operational efficiency
  • Advise on all aspects of category and supplier management and sourcing activity
  • Conduct analysis of spend and supply markets to identify new opportunities

About you:

As a strategic and proactive individual, you will drive transformation within the facilities and property portfolio. You will effectively influence the future direction of the business, whilst aligning with the procurement strategic plan, complying with procurement policies and processes.

Key skills and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (business) or experience in working as a category manager
  • Extensive experience in managing a category portfolio within facilities maintenance and/or property
  • Procurement professional certification (CIPS) desirable only
