We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Kingsley Aged Care Home. One of our smaller sites, Bethanie Kingsley is a homely 37 bed facility with a focus on promoting independence and social activities.

You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.

These positions are being offered on a permanent part-time basis, the successful candidates will be available to work a variety of the shifts listed below;

• Tuesday 7am - 3pm or 4pm - 8.30pm
• Wednesday & Thursday 7am - 1pm
• Friday 4pm - 8.30pm or 3pm - 11pm
• Saturday 7am - 1pm or 4pm - 8.30pm

About You

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
• Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well as a team and also independently
• Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)

The Role

• Assess care plans and ensure residents needs are met
• Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
• Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
• Ensure residents rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
