We are seeking an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) teacher to join our team in an ongoing casual role.

The position applies to a morning shift role only, 20 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 9.00pm to 2.45pm.

To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• a bachelors degree of at least three years duration recognised in Australia (Applicants holding degrees issued overseas must present evidence that their degree has been assessed as being equivalent to an Australian degree or be willing to complete the equivalency process).
• A suitable TESOL qualification, for example, Cambridge CELTA (preferred), Trinity CertTESOL, Certificate IV in TESOL or equivalent (TESOL qualification must have included no less than 100 contact hours and a minimum of six hours supervised and assessed teaching practice).
• At least one year EAP teaching experience (required)
• strong expertise in teaching academic English with a deep understanding of relevant linguistic content and pedagogical approaches
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• An enthstic on your feet approach to English language teaching.
