Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Mantra Towers of Chevron features three towers with self-contained 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, fitness centre and expansive pools for guests to relax under the Gold Coast sky. Just a short stroll away, Mantra Circle on Cavill offers breathtaking views of the Gold Coasts beaches and hinterland. This dual tower hotel includes one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, two lagoon pool, lap pool, fitness centre, and a 12-seat cinema. Purpose As Maintenance Assistant, you will be the master of all trades, prepared to take on any maintenance, repair, paint job or improvement challenge that may arise. You possess the ability to spot issues before they escalate (todays leak could become tomorrows flood!) and you skilfully employ your handy tools to address a diverse range of tasks, ensuring the property remains in impeccable condition. The Role

• This position will see you working across two properties located in Surfers Paradise, Mantra Towers of Chevron and Mantra Circle on Cavil
• Hourly base rate of $25.80 plus superannuation, along with access to Accor Hotels Global Staff Benefits, including exclusive discounts and perks worldwide

Primary Responsibilities

• Take charge of ensuring that all rooms, amenities, and communal spaces within the properties are well-maintained and in excellent condition
• Collaborate with a diverse team, requiring both a cooperative mindset and the ability to work independently
• Encounter stimulating challenges that require innovative solutions
• Be thoroughly trained and provided information on how to progress in your field

Skills and Experience

• Comfortable in a physical role, have a get-up-and-go attitude and be someone who wont stop until the job is completed in a safe and presentable manner
• You are handy on the tools! No official qualification necessary, ideally you will have prior experience with property general maintenance and familiarity with preventative maintenance programs is a plus
• Confident in communicating effectively at all levels, from the General Manager, to guests and contractors working onsite
• Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required
