Heres how youll be a part of our team

• Attractive hourly rates + penalty rates on overtime (occassional Saturday)
• Permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm

The position of Yardperson at our Mt Isa branch is a key support role, responsible for the maintenance of the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment.

As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to:

• Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures.
• Perform general yard duties, including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
• Assist with basic service and repair of non-high-risk equipment in a workshop environment.
• Promote a Safety First culture - talk about safety to your colleagues and customers.

What youll bring to the role

As well as having experience in a similar role, you will also have the following:

• A current forklift & drivers license is essential
• Experience loading and unloading including knowledge of load restraints desirable
• A strong knowledge of and commitment to safety
