  • Salary - $58,709 - $63,154 p.a - ASO2
  • Employment Full time - Temporary 6-month role (up to 30 September 2025)
  • Required to work a 24/7 roster (includes day, afternoon and nightshifts).

About the Opportunity

We currently have multiple opportunities to join the Switchboardteam as a Switchboard Operator, ASO2 on a term contract, working in a full-time temporary role.

The Switchboard operator is part of a small team delivering an effective, courteous and professional first point of telephone contact. The role responsibilities include a provision of immediate responses to Code and Emergency Calls; efficient delivery of telecommunication services by directing phone calls, pager requests and public address related messages in line with protocols and telecommunication etiquette.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to all people including professional staff and the general public
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in keyboard skills
