CommBanks Chief Operations Office (COO) business is looking for an experienced Analyst to join the Governance and Reporting function within our Strategy and Risk team. The Chief Operations Office (COO) is the engine room of the Commonwealth Bank Group dedicated to operating and enhancing the processes that deliver products and services to our customers. Whether taking out a home loan or personal loan, using an ATM, or applying for a credit card, every day our customers rely on the functions made possible by the COO.

Do work that matters

As the Governance & Reporting Analyst , you will work with Senior COO Leaders t o write, draft and deliver executive -level reporting focussed on COO-wide initiatives, Operational Performance and delivery of the COO strategic vision which is focused on passionate people, reimagined experiences and customer advocacy and trust.

You will support the COO leadership team including EM, GM and EGM level stakeholders, ensuring communication, reporting, and meeting material is accurate , consistent and helps drive operational efficiency. This will also include delivering strategy and reporting presentations, outlining key priorities and business analytics in order to give comprehensive updates to the COO LT team.

You will be trusted to co-ordinate COO wide leadership off-sites & forums and will be responsible for driving the passionate people strategic cog for COO and helping COO deliver the highest quality operational support for our customers.

On any given day , you will:

• Deliver in-depth reporting covering Operational Performance and progress on initiatives to the Senior Leadership team.

• Manage the communication plan for Strategy and Risk team and other key business stakeholders including Retail Operations.

• Undertake dedicated analysis and problem solving for a range of issues across the business unit to ensure barriers are identified and tackled appropriately.

• Influence and effectively engage senior stakeholders (EM/GM/EGMs) across COO and multiple Business Units of the group to ensure initiatives are effectively delivered.

Were interested in hearing from people who have:

• Demonstrated experience in providing reporting which effectively showcases current and future business state to senior leadership team.

• A background working with data within a risk governance or strategy related role.

• Proficiency across the Microsoft suite particularly Excel , Power Point and Planview.

• Experience covering Operations, Group Strategy/Advisory or Risk Governance with a strong desire to become e mbedded within the business .

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to adopt a growth mindset.

• A p roactive mindset with a can - do attitude.
