- The role The purpose of this role is to manage and lead a multi-disciplinary team in the daily operations, support, testing and implementation of enhancements of the Information System for Oral Health (ISOH) to achieve agreed objectives in relation to the use of information and information technology to support the delivery, planning and reform of Queensland Health Oral Health Services. This is achieved through the management of day-to-day operations of ISOH including incident, problem, change and release management and the associated service agreements with eHealth Queensland and other vendors on behalf of the Office of the Chief Dental Officer. The successful person You will have: Demonstrated highly developed ability in the management and technical leadership of a team within an application support environment servicing a large and complex clinical application to ensure strategic and operational performance targets are met. Demonstrated ability to communicate, liaise, and negotiate with internal and external ICT service providers to ensure defined service levels and requirements of the customer are met. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in analysis of organisational, technical and application problems, and the documentation and development of associated strategies for resolution. Demonstrated high-level business and operational management skills and experience in working with HHS oral health management, clinical and administration staff to implement and manage organisational change, organisational effectiveness and best practise initiatives at both strategic and operational levels. Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, national and state oral health service delivery, policies, plans and strategies related to oral health application and data management. Ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
