As our business expands we are looking for additional people to join our Cargo offsite facility located on Military Road, Matraville. This facility has free on site parking and is minutes away from the M5 motorway. dnata provides on the job training to all employees as well as full uniform including PPE at no cost.

What you will receive as an employee:

• 5 Weeks Annual Leave (accrued on all time worked);
• Free Parking Available;
• All PPE including steal cap boots supplied;
• Uniforms and ID cards supplied;
• Minimum engagement of 24 hours per week;
• Opportunities for career progression and ability to progress in the business;
• Full time opportunities once you have been with the business for 12 months;

A few of the key responsibilities for a Cargo agent are;

• Forklift driving
• Loading and unloading of cargo in a safe and efficient manner;
• Safely operate forklifts as required
• Accurate data entry and processing of import/export information utilising the dnata operating systems;
• Correct processing of all cargo handling documentation;
• Perform cargo handling duties using automated cargo handling system, packing/unpacking ULDs and loose cargo, as directed

Pay Grade:

$25.86 per hour + 11.5% superannuation + penalties

• 15% if you start your shift before 7am and finish after 6pm
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $29.74
• 22.5% if you start your shift before 4am and finish after 12am
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $31.68
• 150% flat rate all day on Saturday
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $38.79
• 200% flat rate all day on Sunday, Public Holidays and Overtime
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $51.72
• 200% Loading for all part-time employees working outside their rostered hours.
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $51.72

Minimum requirement is Forklift Drivers. If you do not hold a license in either of these, please reach out and our team will assist you.
