Bethanie, Western Australias leading not for profit aged care and retirement living provider, has been warmly welcoming and caring for seniors for nearly 70 years. Our home care team are seeking to appoint a full-time Scheduler (Resource Coordinator). Reporting to the Team Leader, this role is responsible for the scheduling of in-home client services and some administrative functions. A busy and fast-paced role, it will require the talents of an individual is who is highly organised, has a strong customer service focus and has a solution focused attitude.
This position will provide you with the opportunity to build positive professional relationships with Customers, Support Staff, Operational Managers and Case Managers whilst working within a vibrant team environment.
Located at the Support Services office in West Perth, this will be a permanent full-time position. This role will be mainly office based, with some consideration for flexible working and variable start and finishing times.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of services to home care clients within agreed time frames and by appropriately qualified staff
- Provide a quality customer-focused service
- Provide a professional service through effective communication techniques over the phone
- Ensure that information provided to customers pertaining to rostering and staffing is relevant and accurate
- Ensure all home care staff rosters reflect and include approved leave, training and meeting attendance coverage
Requirements:
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Previous experience in a customer service role, contact centre or rostering and scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to work at a high level both autonomously and within a team
- Enthsm and commitment to the provision of excellent customer focused services and empathy with older people and their families.
- Demonstrated skills in the use of packages such as MS Office or other customer databases
- Knowledge of Alayacare would be highly desirable but not essential as training is provided
- A can-do attitude is a must!!!
- Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
- Willingness to obtain vaccinations (minimum of 1 COVID 19 vaccinations and annual flu vaccination)
