Service Agreement Support Officer

SNSW Grade: 5/6 (Base salary range: $88,123 - $100,708 p.a. plus superannuation and leave loading) Employment Type: Ongoing Full-time Location: Applications accepted with NSW. Flexible working options available. In office presence required 2-3 days a week as per DCS directive.

About the Role:

Are you a Paralegal, Contract Administrator or admin Powerhouse looking to take your career to the next level?

Support the management and co-ordination of inter and intra governmental service agreements ensuring compliance with legislative and government requirements and overseeing high-level business and support services to facilitate the efficient delivery of operations and services to meet stakeholder expectations and business objectives.

This position would highly suit a law student or recent law graduate, as there is opportunity for career progression within the team.

About the team Within Enterprise, Risk and Enablement Directorate, a cornerstone of centralised services for SNSW, specialising in Procurement & Assurance, Contracts & Agreements, Asset Management, and Property, Facilities & Fleet.

The Contract Management & Service Agreement Team manages all commercial contracts and agreements from award to completion, including business unit and supplier relationship development, contract performance and risk management to achieve value for money and meet stakeholder expectations and business objectives.

Working across SNSW agency agreements, supporting the Service Agreement Team, this role is part of a collaborative team who value individual input and offers genuine flexibility. Your day-to-day
  • Drive project initiatives for the uplift of agreements.
  • Assist in the development of reports, tools and templates to ensure compliance with policies and procedures including internal controls.
  • Assist in coordinating and responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver value for money and agreement management outcomes.
  • Support team planning activities and updating of roadmap.
  • Processing new agreement requests and agreements lifecycle management.
  • Administrative support including document management processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships and collaborative networks to support optimal service delivery and on time delivery of projects and initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
  • Demonstrated experience in or a proven understanding of contract and/or agreements management.
  • Legal Studies qualifications desirable
  • Well-developed written communication and interpersonal skills, including the preparation of briefing notes.
  • Ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good level of conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and highlight key issues.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads to agreed timeframes.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement including learning new systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with power Apps.
