About Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) Program
The Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) team within Berry Street provide case management and intensive support for young people aged 12-18 years who are on statutory orders with Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).
As a Case Manager within the ICMS team you will provide intense and meaningful support to young people who are most at risk in the community. The position seeks to engage these young people and liaise with a range of services and people who are a part of their lives to support their personal development.
About You
The successful applicant will have experience in outreach support and/or case management with young people. You will be required to have the capacity to understand, work and support young people, their family, carers and networks within a community environment and the skills to engage, negotiate and advocate.
- A preferred Bachelor level qualification in Community Services, Education, Social Work or similar field is required for this role.
- Relevant experience working in case management.
- You will be a quick learner with high energy and commitment to your clients, yet able to work within the parameters of the role. You will need to be able to work flexible hours to provide a responsive service to your clients.
- Experience undertaking contracted case management within DFFH, Child Protection or another similar agency will be looked on favourably.
