Beenyup proudly opened its gates in 2020 and is located in the growing town of Byford. The name of our school acknowledges the original Noongar name of Byford and means 'place of water'. At Beenyup Primary, we build brighter futures together through high expectations and belonging so that every child, every day has the opportunity to find joy, be challenged and experience success. The Role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher to lead and grow our music program.

At Beenyup, we believe the Arts are an important part a well-rounded education. Music nurtures creativity, builds confidence, strengthens emotional wellbeing, and helps children connect with themselves and others. It's not just about playing notes, it's about finding voice, rhythm, and experiencing joy. Whether it's leading performances, developing our choir, introducing new repertoire, or helping students discover their musical spark, we're looking for someone who can bring vision, warmth, and creativity to our program. If you are someone who can inspire students, bring fresh energy, and help us build something truly special, we would love you to apply.

Suitable applicants will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant primary school Music curriculum. As part of this role, you should follow whole school approaches, self-reflect and assess the effectiveness of your teaching practice, promote an environment of active and positive learning, and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential.
