Byford Secondary College (SC) is a newer school in Perth's southern suburbs. We have first class facilities to support high quality teaching and learning programs in our college. Located approximately 30 kilometres from the Perth CBD, our College caters for 1500 students in Years 7 through to 12. Applicants should be motivated, possessing the ability to teach secondary Design and Technology and will ideally be knowledgeable of the Western Australian Curriculum. As a Design and Technology teacher you should deliver a differentiated curriculum in the traditional fields of Materials Design and Technologies (Woodwork and Metalwork). There is also scope for the delivery of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects including but not limited to Robotics and Mechatronics. You should be a teacher with high aspirations for students, and committed to high quality teaching and learning practices including high impact instruction strategies.
