About the role

No prior experience? No problem! If you’re mechanically minded, want to take that next step in your career within a global organisation, and are eager to learn, we’ll provide full training to get you up to speed.

 

This role is a great pathway, where you will have the chance to grow into a Print Apprenticeship, gaining valuable experience and skills in a supportive environment.

Various shift structures available!!

Duties include:

  • Supporting our technical print team in producing printed & embellished labels at a high volume for major national clients
  • Assisting the lead Printer in the operations of the press, including set up and minding.
  • Job preparations using raw materials such as plates, paper, foil, ink & varnish.
  • Basic data records on machine operations 
  • Quality control checking responsibilities.
  • General housekeeping of working environment such as cleaning and keeping area safe.

 

About you   

  • Mechanical aptitude (preferred)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to discern all colours (no colour vision concerns).
  • High regard for safety and a proactive, eager learner.
  • Eligible for Australia working rights.
