Teacher Assistant - 2026Part-time (58.3 hrs per fortnight) opportunity available from Term 1 2026. Monday to Friday, Term Time, school hours, term time only. Supportive work atmosphere with a Catholic ethos. Opportunities across a range of ages, grades and student needs.
The OpportunityWe are seeking compassionate, collaborative and dedicated Teacher Assistants, who are strongly committed to the ethos and practices of Catholic Education and possess a genuine desire to support the holistic development of young people to join our Inclusive Learning team. We have multiple permanent part time positions available, commencing in Term 1, 2026, working up to 5 days a week (58.30 hours per fortnight).
As a Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with students with high and complex needs, as well as those from a wide range of physical and intellectual abilities and diverse linguistic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will provide tailored support and encouragement to help students thrive in an inclusive learning environment, while assisting teachers in delivering programs and interventions that promote participation, learning, and personal growth. This is a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
