Our client is a leading company in their field. Due to business growth, they are currently looking for a Stores Person/Forklift Operator to provide and ensure a quality picking, packing and distribution service for their customer base.

This position is offered on a casual, ongoing basis, working Monday - Friday. An immediate start is available.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders.
• Maintain clean and well organised warehouse in accordance with practices, systems, and guidelines.
• Manual lifting, loading, and unloading vehicles/trucks.
• Operation of forklift truck.
• Communication with internal and external customers and staff.
• Complete timely and accurate stock-takes as and when required.
• Unpacking, counting, and putting away stock.
• Ensure goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner, checking for damages and quantity.
• Distribute and maintain the stock list, ensuring products availability.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the Stores environment.

To be considered for this position, you will:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment as a Stores Person/Forklift Operator.
• Forklift ticket is preffered
• Immediate start - Desirable.
• Understanding of Work Health and Safety within a workshop and warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
