As a Part-Time Cook, you’ll prepare nutritious, high-quality meals while enhancing residents’ independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

The Role

• Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious daily meals
• Develop rotating menus in consultation with the Service Manager and residents
• Manage food storage and supplies efficiently
• Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene, safety and HACCP standards
• Cater to changing dietary needs, including texture-modified meals

About You

• Experience in aged care (preferred), including cook fresh/cook chill methodology
• Certificate III in Hospitality – Commercial Cookery (or similar)
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and NSW Food Regulation requirements
• Experience managing food purchasing within budget
• Understanding of texture-modified foods and allergen management
• A caring, resident-focused approach
