Great Remote Area Nurse (RAN) after hours position is available in this lovely remote Aboriginal Primary Health Care Centre in the beautiful Northern Territory, offering a two-weeks on, two-weeks off FIFO (Fly-in Fly-out) arrangement.

This unique role involves delivering culturally appropriate, comprehensive after-hours care to the remote Aboriginal community and surrounding outstations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical advice, assessments, and emergency response outside of clinic opening hours.

• Promote and deliver client-centered, culturally appropriate care to the local population.

• Be part of an innovative after-hours healthcare service model in a remote setting.

• Respond to health-related emergencies and provide timely medical interventions for the community.

Essential Selection Criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration.

• Triage Certificate.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) (annual), Advanced Life Support (ALS) (2 years), Remote Emergency Care (REC) (or equivalent), and Recognised Immunisation Provider Certificate.

• Pharmacotherapeutics qualification or the willingness to obtain one.

• Minimum 4 years of broad nursing experience post-registration, with at least 2 years in Primary Health in a remote setting.

• Current Driver's License.

• Current NT Working with Children Clearance.

• Satisfactory Criminal History Check.

Remuneration Package:

• Retention Allowance: Pro-rata entitlement to an annual retention allowance.

• Salary Packaging: Options include $15,900 per annum + $2,650 per annum in Meal & Entertainment benefits.

• Travel & Accommodation: All travel to and from site, as well as accommodation during the rotation, are provided.
