In this role, you will support the delivery of culturally safe primary healthcare services and assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients to access healthcare and achieve improved health outcomes.
Working alongside GPs, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and support services, you will contribute to health assessments, care coordination, health promotion activities and community engagement programs.

To be eligible for this position you must:
  • Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
  • Hold a Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or be nearing completion
  • Have experience working within healthcare, aged care, disability or community services, or a genuine desire to build a career in Aboriginal health
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hold a current Open C Class Driver Licence
  • Hold current CPR certification
  • Be able to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
