Ayme Staffing is currently seeking experienced Production workers and Forklift Operators. This is an opportunity to join our team on a casual basis, for upcoming roles in Oberon and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
Working in manufacturing environments, completing a range of production work
Safely and efficiently operate Counterbalance forklifts.
Manual handling including hand loading and unloading materials.
Operating production machines.
Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts.
Transport goods to designated storage areas.
Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating the forklift.
Assist with other general duties as required.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing sector.
If applying for forklift roles, a valid forklift licence and relevant experience is desirable.
Must have current drivers licence and own reliable transport.
Proven experience in labouring and forklift operation.
Excellent knowledge of warehouse layout and safety procedures.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in load handling.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
This is a casual role, and the working hours will vary based on operational needs. Including day and afternoon shift on a rotating basis. Flexibility in terms of availability is essential.
