• Salary range: $31.24 to $33.33 per hour (OO2)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity

The principal location of this role is with Operational Services, Charters Towers Health Service campus. At times the demand for both Home Care and Operational Services varies and staff may be redeployed to Home Care Services. The purpose of this position is to a) undertake operational support in laundry, catering, cleaning and porterage at the Charters Towers Health and / or Service b) provide basic domestic cleaning and support services to the frail aged of the community and their carers. This vacancy is based in the Laundry.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

• National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
