About the Role

We are currently seeking hardworking and motivated NBN Scoping, Rod & Roping, and Haulers to join our growing team. Youll work on a variety of NBN telecommunications projects across South Australia, ensuring pathways are ready for cable installation and fibre hauling.

This role will involve a mix of scoping works, conduit preparation, fibre hauling, and reporting to support the delivery of critical telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct on-site NBN scoping to assess work requirements and document findingsPerform rod & roping of conduits to prepare pathways for cable haulingHaul fibre optic cables in accordance with clients specifications and safety standardsIdentify, locate, and resolve blockages or defects in conduit systemsComplete accurate job documentation, including as-builts and field reportsLiaise with supervisors, project managers, and clients to ensure quality and timely deliveryMaintain and operate tools, plant, and equipment safely and efficiently

What Were Looking For

Experience in NBN or telecommunications civil works (scoping, rod & roping, hauling)Understanding of NBN construction drawings, standards, and work practicesExperience in identify, locate and protect underground servicesWhite Card (Construction Induction) - mandatoryManual drivers licence - required (MR or HR licence desirable)Traffic Control or First Aid certification - advantageousAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safetyPhysically fit and willing to work outdoors in varied conditionsWillingness to work away from home when required - Living Away From Home Allowances provided
