Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Lead, Educational Technology Support to join Learning and Teaching Unit, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.

As the Lead, Educational Technology Support, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining QUTs educational technology stack from a business perspective. Operating as a key member of the Educational Technologies and Digital Media team you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Curriculum Design Studios, the Educational Technologies Adoption Manager, and key stakeholders in Divisions and Faculties. This role plays a key part in advancing QUTs learning and teaching strategy, including the implementation of the Digital Campus Vision, Real World Learning Vision, and Quality Standards for Learning and Teaching.

You will provide input and support to ensure educational technologies are effectively leveraged to enhance teaching practices and improve the learning experience for students.

What you need to succeed

  1. Education or training equivalent to completion of a degree in a relevant field together with subsequent experience configuring and supporting educational technologies and digital media, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  2. Proven digital literacy and demonstrated experience using, supporting, testing, and configuring learning management systems and associated educational technologies.
  3. Proven experience aligning user experience (UX) and learning approaches with educational technology solutions to enhance student learning experiences and outcomes.
  4. Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously with competing deadlines to achieve agreed outcomes.
  5. Experience with digital media production, HTML and CSS. 
  6. Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders across the university.
