About the Role:
  • As a CBRE Maintenance Technical Apprentice, you will develop on the job skills to maintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis.
  • This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
  • We are currently hiring Apprentice in AC & Refrigeration to join us and support Data Centre Critical Environment.
What You’ll Do:
  • Receive training from current operations team in proper job safety and repair procedures.
  • Observe operations team while they perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist with servicing & Maintenance of building equipment and systems.
  • Work with management to ensure energy management by taking measures to verify that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.
  • Impact through methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined and followed with little to no discretion.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a college program or technical school.
  • In progress Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrical/Air-conditioning & Refrigeration.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Applicant required to provide latest student transcript.
  • Must be Australian Citizen - NV1 clearance is required.
  • Must have driver's license.
