Join the Department for Health and Wellbeing, SA Health, as Manager, Communications and help shape how we connect with South Australians about their health and wellbeing, and keep our 50,000+ workforce informed about what's important to them. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to drive strategic communications across the entire state health portfolio, working directly with the Chief Executive, Minister's office, and local health network leaders.
You'll lead and inspire a dedicated Communications Unit, focusing on developing your team's capabilities while overseeing statewide communications strategies, internal communications, social media, and creative services. As a people leader, you'll foster professional growth, facilitate training opportunities, and create an environment where your team can deliver their best work. From crisis communications to innovative communications strategies that build public confidence in our health system, you'll empower your team to be at the forefront of meaningful communications that directly impact our communities and our workforce.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on team leadership. You'll collaborate across the public health system and government, managing partnerships, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
