LMTR3 - Registered Nurse – Uniting Tamworth

Salary Range: $79,000 – $101,000 + Twice the Salary Packaging Benefits of Hospitals

About the facility

A compassionate home that's purpose-built to provide a high level of aged care. We’re transitioning to Household Living – our innovative approach to care – which empowers you to live your day, your way, just as you would in any family home.

Uniting McKay House, Tamworth has 3 separate households, each with up to 20 residents. Your Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable. 

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our residents live with dignity, purpose, and joy. You will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional person-centred care to our residents. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will ensure that each resident receives the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee clinical care within the household model
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate individual care plans
  • Liaise with medical and allied health professionals, and advocate for residents’ needs
  • Supervise and mentor Personal Care Workers
  • Use your clinical judgment and decision-making skills to ensure best-practice care
  • Promote and maintain evidence-based nursing practice and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA registration and nursing degree
  • Experience in aged care, community care, or the wider health sector

  • Commitment to contemporary aged care practice
