LABOURER CEMETERIES

(MURGON OR KINGAROY)

Permanent Full Time

$61K - $63K per annum + Allowances + Super

Council is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our team, providing high-quality maintenance and customer service across Council-managed cemeteries. This role involves a variety of duties, including general cemetery and facility maintenance; horticultural tasks such as mowing, whipper snipping, planting, and weed control; responding to cemetery-related enquiries with professionalism and care; and conducting site inspections with strong attention to detail. The successful applicant will have experience in general labouring, horticulture, and grounds maintenance; ability to perform physical tasks in outdoor environments; strong attention to detail and commitment to safety; basic computer skills for inspections and reporting; and excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. MANDATORY:

• Minimum requirement of a current C Class drivers licence

• Certificate II or III in Horticulture or equivalent experience

• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)

DESIRABLE:

• Chemical Operators Licence & MC Class drivers licence
