About us
Boonenne Timbers is a family owned and operated hardwood sawmill located at Kingaroy, Qld. Due to ongoing expansion we require competent operators to join our team.
Qualifications & experience
- Current valid Australian Drivers License and transport essential.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills essential.
- Knowledge of Australian Hardwood species preferred.
- Knowledge of Hardwood Sawmill operations preferred.
- Forklift license preferred.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Follow all work instructions, policies and procedures in a safe, competent manner.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a 2020 Smith Twin Log Edger.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a Grey No. 1 Bench with a return roundabout.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a 2020 Smith Fault Docker.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a Volvo L90F loader and merchandise saw logs.
- Stack and strap sawn hardwood timber to suit orders.
- Perform minor daily maintenance on equipment.
