The role

As an Internal Auditor Information Technology, where you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality IT audits that strengthen governance, enhance cybersecurity, and drive organisational success.

As part of our dynamic Group Internal Audit team, you'll assist with a broad range of technology-focused audits and help evaluate and improve controls across IT operations, cybersecurity, and application systems. This is an exciting opportunity to build your audit career while contributing to strategic initiatives in a fast paced, high integrity environment.

In this role, you will:

• Support planning and delivery of internal audits, particularly across IT systems and processes.

• Conduct control testing and prepare well-documented workpapers.

• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of IT risk management and internal controls.

• Collect and analyse data using audit tools and AI to identify control issues.

• Recommend improvements and contribute ideas to enhance audit practices.

• Engage in continuous professional development to grow your skills.

What experience you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related tech field.

• At least 2 years' experience in internal auditing, IT security or a related discipline.

• A basic understanding of IT systems, infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.

• Proficiency with audit tools, testing procedures, and a strong attention to detail.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

• A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and contribute.

• Experience in financial services and knowledge of the Australian regulatory environment (desirable).
