With continued growth in our Revesby NSW Depot we seek forklift operators wanting to expand their skills and willing to contribute to our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Team Member/Forklift Operator, your main responsibility will be to assist in our warehouse operations. This includes loading, unloading, moving, and storing materials using various lifting equipment. You will also be responsible for inspecting products for defects and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Lifting equipment includes Counterbalance forklifts from 2.5 Tonne machines up to 16 Tonne machines, with training Provided moving onto the container toploader.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient operation of forklift to handle and move inventory and materials in the warehouse.
Warehouse manual labour duties as required.
Loading and unloading of goods from trucks and containers.
Inspection of goods received for any damage or discrepancies.
Basic computer proficiency and data entry ability
Accurate receipt of inventory, maintaining up-to-date stock records.
Complying with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator with unconventional freight. I.e Steel, Machinery, and various other "ugly" type freight.
Current LF Forklift Licence is a must; experience using a Container Handling Forklift or working with heavy loads on higher capacity forklifts highly regarded.
Must have a valid Australian car drivers license, having a heavy vehicle license would be advantageous.
Good physical condition and stamina; the role requires lifting and moving of heavy items.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented, with good organisational and time management abilities.
