An opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a Property Fund in Melbourne's South-Easy. The individual will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, lead a small team and play a commercial role partnering with the SLT, guiding the strategic direction of the company. Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following but not be limited to):

  • Manage and oversee financial operations, including reporting and compliance within the funds division.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise fund performance.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team within the funds division.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Act as a POC and expert for the ERP
  • Other ad hoc projects as requested by the CFO

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fund management or property
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
