An exciting opportunity exists to this iconic family friendly gastro pub. As a Duty Manager, it is your role to support your fellow management team running shifts and ensuring a smooth operation, supervising a young and energetic team whilst contributing to the continued success of this dining institution.
The Glenferrie Hotel is centrally located in the hub of the busy precinct that is Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn.
The successful applicant must possess the following attributes:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Has a passion for the industry and is committed to a successful career in hospitality
* Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to train and motivate staff
* Strong product knowledge with a keenness to further improve learning and development
* Excellent customer service with the ability to up sell
* Computer literate
* Friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Must have a current RSA certificate
The position requires flexibility and the willingness to work days, nights and weekends.
