Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyard, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible for designing, constructing and managing shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) to support the AUKUS program, while also operating and maintaining common use facilities that enable Australia's sovereign naval shipbuilding capability.
ANI is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of environmental programs, projects and initiatives that support operational, construction and strategic outcomes across the Osborne Naval Shipyard.
Reporting into the Infrastructure Development team, this role is responsible for managing environmental projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legislative obligations, stakeholder requirements and organisational objectives. The position plays a critical role in balancing environmental performance with the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and construction programs within a highly regulated defence environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou are an experienced environmental professional with a strong background delivering environmental outcomes within infrastructure, construction, industrial or major project environments. You bring excellent stakeholder management skills, sound technical knowledge and the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks while building trusted working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
