We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to support us, in caring for and guiding our participants in living their best life.
Overview of the role:
• Opportunities to support participants in SIL, ILO and In-Home Supports, and community access.
• 24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts, including Overnight, Weekends, Spilt shifts.
• Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP).
• We are heavy on data and recording, so a commitment to completing skilled shift notes, and requested data collection sheets per shift.
• Support people within both family settings and 1-on-1 arrangements in SIL.
• Use a company vehicle when on shift in our SIL locations or your own vehicle when working with our clients in the community.
What you need:
• 12 months plus paid experience supporting people in SILs with Behaviour Support Plans, RP's and Medical Management Plans.
• Australian Driver's License
• Access to own reliable vehicle for community-based support shifts
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment
• National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months or willing to apply)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Reliable phone for accessing our CRM, rostering and company communication.
