The Opportunity\n

Perfect Stranger is seeking a creative, inspiring, and dedicated retail leader to step into the Store Manager role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on motivating a team, shaping store culture, and creating memorable customer experiences. The successful candidate will work a Tuesday–Saturday roster, including late‑night trade.

Responsibilities\n

• Lead day‑to‑day store operations with a strong floor presence.

• Inspire, coach, and develop a large, diverse team to create future leaders.
\n
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service expectations.
\n
• Drive sales results and ensure store profitability through cost and productivity management.
\n
• Oversee rostering, budgets, and scheduling to meet business and payroll targets.
\n
• Maintain visual merchandising, presentation standards, and store efficiencies.
\n
• Recruit, train, and support team members with clear, honest, and constructive feedback.
\n
• Uphold and model Perfect Stranger’s behavioural expectations, culture, and brand values.

Skills and Experience\n

• Strong retail background with hands‑on experience across stockroom and shop floor.

• Proven leadership experience as a Store Manager, leading medium to large teams.
\n
• Warm, enthusiastic communicator who leads with positivity and purpose.

• Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
\n
• High attention to detail with a strong understanding of retail profitability.
\n
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales results.
