This is a full-time permanent position located in Parramatta CBD or Sydney CBD – Hybrid – 3 days in office & 2 days WFH.

About the opportunity:

As our Workforce Analyst in the Home and Community Care (HACC) stream, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable, future-ready HACC workforce who make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day. You’ll turn workforce data into powerful insights that guide decision-making, resource planning and the long-term success of our Home and Community Care services.

​​As the Workforce Analyst, your role will:

• Deliver end-to-end workforce analysis, including reporting, trend and variance analysis, and root cause investigation to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights that highlight risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Support forecasting, capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives by analysing demand, workforce trends and operational performance.
• Partner with Workforce, Operations and Transformation teams to strengthen reporting standards, optimise workforce systems and drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide visible WH&S leadership to maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive working environment.
• Partner across teams to translate business priorities into meaningful workforce insights and performance measures.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of workforce reporting and analysis.
• Apply industry trends, workforce analytics best practice and commercial insight to strengthen organisational outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, risks and performance gaps.

Your Qualifications & Experience

You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for turning data into action. You enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a collaborative environment. You’re just as comfortable analysing workforce models as you are talking with area managers about what those numbers mean for their teams.

You’ll bring:

• Bachelor qualification in a relevant business field (or equivalent experience)
• Ideally with 1+ years’ experience in workforce analytics, workforce planning, operational reporting or a similar analytical role. Fresh graduates who share Uniting’s values are welcome to apply
• Strong analytical capability, including advanced Excel and BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI), with experience managing large, complex datasets and translating data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and influence through data-driven storytelling.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across a complex organisation, with a sound understanding of WH&S principles and risk management practices.
