Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Oversee everyday operations, sales and high‑volume stock management within the store.
  • \n
  • Lead a team of 120+ employees, providing efficient, organised leadership and acting as the go‑to point for customers and internal sales teams.
  • \n
  • Support and collaborate with Assistant Site Managers, Department Managers, Supervisors, Team Members and Forklift Drivers to achieve store objectives.
  • \n
  • Engage with local stores and Trade Centres to contribute to the success of the wider area group.
  • \n
  • Develop local strategies and business plans that support the long‑term growth of the Warehouse.
  • \n
  • Monitor and measure customer service levels, liaise with Commercial Sales teams, Distribution Centres, Fulfilment Centres and Bunnings Support Office to manage stock levels, sales capabilities and safety procedures.
  • \n
  • Hold full accountability for warehouse EBIT performance, including sales growth, margin optimisation, wage control and cost management.
  • \n
  • Identify commercial opportunities and implement actions to drive sales and growth.
  • \n
  • Lead strong stock‑loss performance by reducing shrink, delivering accurate stocktakes, and ensuring inventory integrity across the warehouse.
  • \n
  • Engage the local community and identify opportunities for community events and projects.
  • \n
  • Maintain a minimum of 1 in 3 weekend roster and some public holiday work as required.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Strong track record leading large, diverse teams (100+) in fast‑paced operations.
  • \n
  • Previous experience leading teams in the retail industry or a large, high‑volume customer‑focused organisation.
  • \n
  • Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing leadership teams through coaching and accountability.
  • \n
  • Strong commitment to creating a Safe & Secure warehouse, including compliance and injury management and safety engagement.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to own business EBIT, delivering sales growth, margin and cost control.
  • \n
  • Ability to identify and action opportunities that drive sales and business growth.
  • \n
  • Strong capability in reducing shrink, delivering accurate stocktakes and maintaining inventory integrity.
  • \n
  • Must be able to wear many hats, influence multiple stakeholders and understand KPIs.
