THE ROLE

Due to recent growth our client are looking to take on a full time employee. We're looking for a qualified Building & Pest Inspectors to join us in West Melbourne. This role would suit an experienced building and/or pest inspector or a licenced builder/site supervisor looking for a change. 90% of work will be in pre purchase inspections. 

As an Inspector with our client, you'll play a key role in safeguarding the structural integrity and safety of properties. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Identifying structural defects, safety risks, and compliance issues
• Producing detailed inspection reports with clear, actionable recommendations

This role is vital in supporting safe property transactions, ongoing maintenance, and renovation projects by ensuring buildings meet relevant safety and compliance standards.

ABOUT YOU 

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting building and/or pest inspections
• Certified in Timber Pest Management (CPPUPM3008 & CPPUPM3010) - if you dont have this you must be willing to enrol.
• Must have a builders licence
• Excellent attention to detail with strong report writing capabilities
• Physically capable of inspecting subfloors, roof cavities, and external roofing areas
• Holds a current police clearance (or willing to get one), valid driver's licence, and has access to a dependable vehicle
