Booking and Scheduling Officer – Cardiff or Somersby

Remuneration: $76,125.92 – $77,852.51 per annum, plus 12% superannuation

Job Overview

HealthShare NSW is seeking a dedicated Booking and Scheduling Officer to support the delivery of Non‑Emergency Patient Transport Services. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming bookings and enquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service while accurately scheduling requests for non‑emergency transport. You will manage and monitor pending and active cases, maintain accurate data, and progress bookings efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for incoming bookings and enquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Accurately schedule non‑emergency transport requests and manage pending and active cases.
  • Maintain accurate data and ensure bookings are progressed efficiently.
  • Handle multiple priorities while contributing to a smooth and effective scheduling process.
  • Participate in ongoing training, process improvements, and quality management programs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proactive approach with strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Experience in booking and scheduling or related administrative role is preferred.
  • Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa).
  • Compliance with NSW Health Category B position requirements and OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form.
