About the Role

Servicing the local community this position is a key component in delivering the Open Space Maintenance Standards. Bulk mowing, Cut-in and Edging functions shared within a team of six others. Servicing our premier park areas and reserves on Toro 5910 and 360 plant, your equipment is maintained by our fleet mechanics. Led by our Leading Hand you will rotate through our Mowing program servicing East and West on a fortnightly basis. Training will be identified and provided to you through our PR&D process through your journey at Baw Baw Shire.

About the Successful Candidate

To be successful in this role you will need to be a safety conscious, high performing team person. You will need to showcase your skills maintaining bulk grass areas, and more finesse areas around our premier sites in the Shire. A mechanical aptitude is required as you will maintain your equipment with basic servicing daily and be able to undertake pre-starts through our tech-based recording. An awareness of our high performing culture is also desired. Respect, optimism, authentic, pragmatic, and supportive are the traits you will need to display daily with both community and team members.
