Reporting to the Branch Manager – Fleet Delivery the Customer Coordinator is responsible for providing guidance to team members to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency are at the highest standards, leading to high customer satisfaction.


The role involves taking ownership of the customer experience, ensuring compliance with plans and delivering high-quality new machines to meet productivity targets for Caterpillar, the customer, and Westrac.


This is managed by demonstrating effective leadership with the entire Fleet delivery team, with a focus on safety, training, and task allocation for both Westrac tradespeople and contractors. The key priority is investigating customer needs thoroughly and providing solutions that add value to both the customer and WesTrac, fostering long-lasting customer relationships.


Location: South Guildford, WA

Roster: Monday – Friday, 10 hour days


To be successful the following is required:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
  • Highly developed communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office)
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • Experience in the heavy machine industry with exposure to a similar safety culture including working in high risk environments
