The Satellite Ground Station Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, development and commissioning of Geoscience Australias future satellite ground station to meet the requirements of the Landsat Next satellite mission (and a range of other satelite missions). The role will coordinate the design of technical elements of the Australian ground segment in line with the requirements identified by the United

States Geological Survey, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and other domestic and international partners. This position is based at Geoscience Australias Symonston premises in Canberra. Periodic travel to Alice Springs is required.
