About the Role

We are looking for a Paralegal to support our business. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for supporting best practice franchising providing timely, accurate and professional legal support across ANZ.

Key Activities

-         Coordinate the preparation of legal agreement suites for new franchisees across ANZ

-         Ensure renewals are completed well in advance of terms expiring

-         Coordinate the preparation of legal documentation for transfer, variation and termination of territories

-         Manage all leasing legal documentation and the ongoing management of all leased sites

-         Manage registration of PPSR securities

-         Review all supplier agreements, negotiate and update as required to protect the business.

-         Assist with company secretarial filing and records management

-         Review all other commercial agreements, negotiate and update as required to protect the business.

-         Carry out legal research as required

-         Ensure all trademarks are renewed as required

-         Ensure business names are renewed as required

Who were looking for 

-         Franchise experience is essential

-         Organised, energetic and adaptable with strong attention to detail.

-         Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

-         Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.

-         Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

-         Integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to quality outcomes
