The Role An opportunity has become available for a Manager (Clinical Records Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Provide effective strategic leadership of staff and operations Oversee the management of and adherence to all Clinical Records and Release of Information related policies, procedures and legislation Oversee the development and ongoing maintenance of training and workplace orientation packages Manage and implement quality improvement initiatives About you To be successful in this position you will require: While not mandatory, a qualification in Health Information Management would be well regarded While not mandatory, a qualification in training and assessment would be well regarded Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work options Career Development Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture Research Opportunities 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Salary Temporary full time (up to twelve months with the possibility of extension) Base salary ranging from $121 360 - $129 998 per annum, $4 651.70 - $4 982.80 per fortnight About Us The Digital Transformation and Research (DTR) division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation initiatives, aligned with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services Strategic Plan 2028 (G28). DTR is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery optimising Health Service performance. Additionally, it oversees strategic partnerships that support the implementation of alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, while driving improvements in performance and innovation across the organisation.
