Who Were Looking ForBased in the Multiplex Brisbane Office + various construction sites in QLD, and reporting to the IT Techncial Support Manager, the IT Technical Support Engineer (Junior) is responsible for providing support to all IT users from investigation to resolving computer hardware and software issues. Troubleshooting user account issues including passwords and access issues and recording, prioritising, and tracking service tickets within the Service Management System.In addition, the IT Technical Support Engineer (Junior) is involved in new site IT set up and works closely with other service functions within the IT organisation to resolve more complex issues and deliver projects in line with our global IT strategy.Suited to junior engineers with 1-2 years experience, this role is customer-focused and service-orientated and requires excellent interpersonal skills and strong dedication to customer service to support both technical and nontechnical personnel at all levels.The successful Candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills, including:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma of Information Technology or equivalent (preferable).
• Previous experience as Deskside Support Engineer or similar IT services/support (preferable).
• Exposure to configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office Suite and utilisation of help desk management and remote assistant tools.
• Exposure to PC hardware replacement and repair, enterprise workstation deployment and configuration, troubleshooting client network connectivity issues, and configuration of networked printers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
