About:

Turosi Pty Ltd is a privately-owned Company with facilities in Victoria, Queensland and NSW, providing a full range of raw and cooked food solutions across a range of proteins to the retail and food service sectors. 

We are currently looking for a full-time experienced IT Operations Officer to join the team at our Eagle Farm site in Brisbane. You will be responsible for 2 sites, Qantas Drive and Lavarack Avenue. This role will report to our IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager based in Victoria.

About You:

• Have demonstrated experience of a minimum of 2 years in an IT System Officer/Analyst role
• IT Desktop and ServiceDesk experience
• Proven experience with troubleshooting end user and server hardware, software, and network issues
• Ability to use initiative and work safely with a minimum of supervision, or effectively within a team environment
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to interact, via verbal or written means, to all levels of staff/management.
• Excellent problem solving and well-developed analytical skills.
• Business Central or other ERP system support expereince would advantageous, as would -
• Awareness of different handheld scan guns and thermal printers like Zebra,
• Knowledge of M365 Cloud administration (SharePoint/Teams/EntraID), CheckPoint, Ubiquiti Networks or similar.
• Knowledge of Windows End User OS and Server OS, i-Devices, MS 365, and ability to learn modern technologies and applications quickly.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Function as a point of contact for phone calls coming into IT ServiceDesk
• Provide Central Support for all sites as needed
• Monitor and follow up on open tickets
• Trouble shoot and resolve issues related to operating systems (Microsoft, Apple), Microsoft 365, and other business applications
• Perform hardware, software upgrades, patches, and migrations
• Configure & support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for employees
• Support network connectivity and remote access tools
• Deal with third party suppliers for ordering and maintaining operational equipment
